Recovery and Levels Testing

This week will be a recovery week.  We have been pounding the weights for 24 solid weeks.  It’s critical in the training process to take time and reset from the stresses of heavy lifting in order to prep the body for the next stimulus that is coming.  This will allow for faster gains.

We will be working on mobility and levels testing and skills this week first off.  Then we will do a conditioning workout afterwards.  Take this time to do some physical reset and regeneration.  I know many of us want to hit it hard all the time, but trust me in the yearly cycle ALL professional athletes take time off from the stresses… it’s critical to maximize human performance.  Next week we will begin an olympic weightlifting cycle that will be very neurologically taxing… it’s important to have the nervous system reset to get ready for the next 12 weeks.

Have a great week!
