Sports & fitness background: I wrestled through high school & through my first year of college. I also played football, basketball, baseball, extreme glow in the dark chess, and underwater basket-weaving when I was younger.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?
I was actually invited to the gym’s grand opening by someone who never actually worked out here. The day of the grand opening it snowed and iced it’s face off. It was me and one other guy who did the intro wod with justin. Aside from that my first wod was rowing & lunges and it felt like most workouts do…. bad.
A little more about me…
I like long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners and anything with peanut butter & chocolate. As un-paleo as it is I am sucker for Reeses, and most other sweet things. I am engaged to a wonderful girl named jamie, and I go to school at the university of memphis. Currently that is my life- Crossfit and school.
What are you doing for CFB?
I help coach, and maintain the gym, & have been known to program an occasional WOD or two.
