5-23-18... It's OK to Feel This Way...

Most people don't like feeling uncomfortable.  In fact, I don't know anyone who does like it.  That being said, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is critical for your success. When you are training and you reach that thought process of, "This is really uncomfortable, I need to stop," that is actually the exact point where you are making the most progress.  It's OK to feel that way.  While training people, I've noticed the tendency of people to always, always, always, stop before they accomplished what they are capable of.

One of the jobs of our coaches is to not only make sure you are moving safely, but to also lock arms with you and pull you along to do the things you wouldn't do on your own.  So when a coach is coaching you and they tell you that you've got more, despite what you think, you've probably got more in you.  Listen to them, push yourself.  I always do better myself when I'm in a class and someone is coaching and pulling me along.  The Navy SEALs say that when you believe you're done, you're only 40% done.  Listen to your coach and see what you can accomplish!
