“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.”
– Zig Ziglar
Do you struggle with motivation?
Sure we all do.
We all say we want something, but when the time comes to do it, many times we talk ourselves out of it.
This morning when it was time for me to workout, all I kept thinking of was how much I had to do outside of working out. Sure sleep sounded better, admin had to be done, cleaning had to be done. There is a million things I could’ve done rather then work out, but had I not worked out, I would’ve missed my opportunity and regretted not doing it.
You see even coaches struggle with motivation. It’s a muscle that needs to be flexed daily, and it usually functions better with accountability.
One of the great things about our program is the accountability. If you miss class we reach out to you. If you make friends in class, they reach out to you. It’s a cycle of continuous accountability.
Many times the hardest thing to do is get moving and on your way. If you can overcome that hurdle then you will feel much better once the activity is over with. Find things that motivate you to get moving. I promise you won’t regret it.
