3-6-19.... Are You Acting or Talking....

Everyone loves the idea of being fit, achieving their goals in life and fitness etc, but it's very few that actually get there.  Why do you think that is?

In reality, most people love the idea of it, but most people don't love the work involved to get there.  We start off all gung ho, and this week we are going to work out 4 days and get up early in the morning and crush it.  That lasts for a minute then there's one day where life gets hectic, we were up late last night, so there's no way we can get up early this morning, or something went wrong at work and we need to go home and de stress.

Here's the deal, life is going to happen.  The key to success is to always take action.  Even when we don't want to.  Even when it's hard.  Even when life is sucking.  Take action and move towards your goals.  This is especially hard to do when life get's hard but when you do, you won't regret it.

Stop saying you want to be fit and then grabbing dinner out of a window on the way home, or drinking all weekend, or eating out 2 meals a day.  Take action to do the things you know you need to do to make those results happen.

I'm just as guilty as the rest of us.  I fall off, I get burned out, I get busy, Life gets hectic, I get depressed, stressed out etc.  I add some weight back on, but I know that it was my decisions to get me here.  The key is to decide to make a change and then actually make it.  My actions have consequences both positive and negative and as long as I stop feeling bad about the negative things I've done and start choosing to make positive changes, I will change and in that I find solace.

So this is a call to action for everyone, not to talk down to you, or to appear holier then you, we all have faults, rather this is to motivate you to take action.  Stop talking about, stop wishing it, stop sabotaging it.

Take action, not tomorrow, not Monday, not next week, not next month, or when the kids get out of school.....

RIGHT NOW.  What can you do right now this very instant to make a positive stride for your goals.  Decide to do it, and then go do it.
