Classes
This is where your journey begins. The On-Ramp program is a beginner class that runs for 12 training sessions. The purpose of the On-Ramp Program is to introduce the CrossFit training methods and the
fundamental movements used in CrossFit. You will get a chance to learn at your own pace, in a small group setting of beginners, and this gives us the ability to prevent anyone from being overwhelmed in their first CrossFit Class experience. These sessions also allow us to evaluate you to determine your level of fitness as well as strengths and weaknesses. We can address any injuries or special needs at this time as well. We will also use this time to learn your goals and why you joined our family to begin with. If you are already familiar with CrossFit, this program will be used to help you achieve your goals, set personal records, and work on weaknesses you may have. After you have completed the On-Ramp program you will have a basic foundation to begin attending regular classes. If you would rather learn on a one on one basis with a trainer there is also a personal training option available.
Once you have completed your orientation then you can join our regular classes. These classes focus on intensity as well as proper form all while promoting a fun exercise environment. The classes usually consist of anywhere from 5- 20 people. In these classes the CrossFit coach and your peers will all work to instruct and motivate you in order to get the best workout possible. We will work on mastering basic movements that are part of the CrossFit program (push ups, pull ups, air squats, and jump rope). You will also get more instruction on the barbell lifts like overhead squats, deadlifts, presses and more. You’ll use our Concept II rowers, kettlebells, gymnastics rings, tractor tires and medicine balls. Classes may also include instruction on the more complex Olympic lifts (cleans, jerks and snatches). We will evaluate your skill and fitness levels and scale each workout according to your abilities. No one is ever too out of shape or in too good of shape for this class.
CrossFit is not your typical workout regime. Personal Training with CrossFit will not be your typical personal training either. All of the personal training will take place with one on one sessions that are tailored to meet your specific goals and aspirations. We will give to you are undivided attention to detail as well as strive to get the best results possible for your dedication.
